Bank. Since its creation in 1972, Dongbu Savings Bank has been steadily growing in our customers¡¯ trust. It has now found a place among the most appreciated and respected savings banks in the country. More recently, we became Korea¡¯s first banking institution to join the World Savings Bank Institute (WSBI) as a full member, and entered into strategic partnerships with leading European savings banks. During the same period, we have moreover opened four new financial centers, and introduced clearing member network service and bancassurance products. Although modest in scale, Dongbu Savings Bank has made the most of a streamlined organization to offer best value to our customers. Now with 30 years of experience behind us, Dongbu Savings Bank would like to invest its know-how in expanding its operation to become a specialized retail bank of an international standard.
